NoScroll Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 10, 2026
Overview
NoScroll is a browser extension that helps you reduce distractions on supported social and video sites. This policy describes what information is involved when you use NoScroll, including the free version and optional NoScroll Pro.

Information stored on your device
The extension stores preferences and usage summaries locally in your browser. This includes blocking on/off, per-site settings, custom message and delay for Pro users, timed break state, and local counters such as time saved and block counts. This local data stays on your device unless you remove the extension or clear extension data.
NoScroll Pro and account-related data
If you purchase NoScroll Pro or use Activate Pro, we use the email address you provide to:
- Check that an active Pro entitlement exists for that email.
- Send a one-time verification code to that email.
- Associate your Pro access with a device identifier generated and stored in the extension on your device.
The extension may store whether Pro is active, plan-related fields returned by our servers, your verified email, a device ID, and an activation token used to confirm that this device remains authorized.
Payment processing
Payments for Pro are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details in NoScroll. Stripe handles payment information according to its own terms and privacy policy.
Data on our servers
We use Supabase to operate Pro. Depending on your use of Pro, this may include entitlement records, verification code records, and device activation records needed to enforce Pro access and limit abuse.
Public website
This public website may preserve referral and campaign URL parameters in browser localStorage so checkout can attribute the purchase. Selected pages (including pricing and affiliates) load Refgrow scripts for affiliate signup and referral attribution. The website uses the public Supabase anon key to call our server-side checkout function. Stripe secret keys are never included in frontend code.
Sites where the extension runs
NoScroll runs on the sites listed in the extension permissions, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, and Reddit, to show overlays and adjust the page for blocking features.
Analytics and telemetry
The extension does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. Optional developer-only logging in content scripts is off by default.
Retention and your choices
We retain server-side data as needed to provide Pro, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You can uninstall the extension to remove locally stored data from that installation. To ask about access, correction, or deletion of information we hold about you, email us.
Children
NoScroll is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The new effective date will be shown at the top when we do.
